Statement on the Tragedy at the Lapu Lapu Day Festival

Hello FSA members and those in our community.
On behalf of the FSA’s Directors and staff, I write to acknowledge the event that took place during Saturday’s Lapu Lapu Day celebrations. What was meant to be a time of family, fun, and community was deeply marred by a senseless act of violence. Our hearts are with everyone affected, and the FSA extends our deepest condolences. We stand, especially, with our Filipino friends, families, and community members during this time.
