FSA Distinguished Alumni Award
The FSA Distinguished Alumni Award (DAA) is a partnership with the BCIT’s Distinguished Awards. Each year the Alumni Association selects recipients from BCIT alumni who have demonstrated achievement/leadership to receive these awards. In 2014 the FSA began to partner with the Alumni Association to present an additional DAA to an FSA member who is an alumnus of BCIT and demonstrates excellence in their work at BCIT. Bursaries
The FSA funds a number of student bursaries at BCIT, including general scholarships in the Association’s name available in the Schools of Business, Computing and Academic Studies, Construction and the Environment, Health Sciences, and a technology department. The FSA also subsidizes the BCIT Faculty and Staff Association Bursary Endowment in Honour of Elinor Hudon and Jennifer Orum as well as a new endowment, beginning in 2024, available to the dependents of FSA members.
