The FSA Celebrates: International Day of Persons with Disabilities

November 29, 2024

December 3 is the International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD). The IDPD draws our attention to critical issues and barriers faced by union and community members as well as fellow global citizens living with disabilities. It is a day to consider and take action to remove barriers to inclusion and decry projects that disable individuals. Through robust labour relations and our Equity Caucus, the FSA is committed to what the UN refers to as nothing less than “system-wide accessibility for persons with disabilities and the mainstreaming of their rights.” Members experiencing barriers to accessibility can contact the FSA.

There are dozens of ways that the FSA can help members improve conditions at BCIT and in the wider community Get Involved Please let us know how we can improve this site. We want to hear from you! Website Feedback
