FSA Announces Chief Negototiator

The FSA is pleased to announce that FSA member Colin Jones will be taking on the role of Chief Negotiator for the upcoming round of bargaining. Colin served on the FSA’s bargaining team for the last two rounds, and has previously been an FSA Board Director. He has also sat on a variety of committees on behalf of FSA. For the duration of the negotiations, Colin will be released from his position in Information Technology Services (ITS) at BCIT.
The FSA’s Chief Negotiator is a key role on the FSA’s Collective Agreement Committee and Bargaining Team. The Chief Negotiator is the lead voice at the bargaining table, along with the other members of the bargaining team that includes FSA members, board members, and staff.
Colin brings immense experience and knowledge to this role. With more than two decades of solutions-based work, Colin’s background in process improvement, strategic analysis, and project management is extremely valuable. Colin enjoys finding innovatively simple ways to solve thorny problems and frustrations. We are thrilled that he is taking on this leadership role with our organization at this critical time.
